One of today’s most respected drummers, and a world class clinician, Pat Petrillo is widely known for his deep groove, stylistic versatility, and uncanny technical ability. Pat brings it all together with the musicality and finesse of a seasoned pro.

Hailing from New Jersey, Pat’s musical influences were vast, from R&B/Soul, to Pop/Rock, & Funk/Fusion. Perhaps this is why he has been called upon to play with a wide variety of artists in numerous genres, from R&B legends Gloria Gaynor and Patti LaBelle, to Pop/Rock artists Glen Burtnik and Patty Smyth, to his latest project, “Groovallegiance”, featuring bassist Gary Grainger, guitarist Chieli Minucci, and keyboardist David Cook, with a debut CD will be released in 2009. He has also played numerous Broadway shows, including the original Broadway productions of "A Chorus Line", "Grease", and "Footloose", as well as a national tour of "Dreamgirls".

A faculty member at Drummers Collective in NYC, Pat is one of the most sought after educators and clinicians in the business. He has conducted many clinic tours around the globe. Pat’s DVD/Book from Hudson Music, “Hands, Grooves, & Fills” has gained international acclaim from numerous publications, placing in both the Modern Drummer Readers Poll and DRUM magazines Drummie Awards in 2008. He is also a featured artist on drummerworld.com, as well as on the Ludwig 100th Anniversary DVD.
