He is one of the best known Italian drum teachers. Throughout 20 years of activities he has collaborated with the most important Italian music schools. He has been the national coordinator of the drum sector of the Lizard academies for 10 years. In 2006 he created his own educational brand called SCUDERIE CAPITANI, which includes approximately 40 seats scattered all around Italy. He teaches in Grosseto, at the Rockland School, which is the national seat of the Scuderie. In the educational sector, he has also published the two volumes "Scuola di Batteria", distributed all over Europe. He is the author of the volume "SEX DRUMS & ROCK'n'ROLL".
He took active part in the following dvd: PERCFEST 2005, UFIP 75th ANNIVERSARY, PERCFEST 2004, UFIP 70th ANNIVERSARY, TEMPI MODERNI.
He is the deviser and artistic director of the E-MOM, European Master Of Music, which takes place in Lucca (Tuscany). He is also the head of the multi-purpose centre City Music of Lucca. In 2005 he published his first solo record, entitled "2040", produced and distributed by Overlook Italia.
