Nick MeyersInstructor at Augusta State UniversityNicholaus Meyers, a native of Georgia, received his Bachelors degree in Percussion Performance from Augusta State University and Masters degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Meyers is currently instructor of Percussion and Humanities at Augusta State University and works with the Lakeside High School band program in Evans, Georgia. He also teaches Music Appreciation at Augusta Technical College, Troy University, composes and performs with the Augusta Symphony, Opera, Choral Society and area churches. Mr. Meyers also performs with the "Three Sides Percussion Trio" which tours throughout the Southeast. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Percussive Arts Society (PAS), Society of Composers, College Music Society, The Film Music Society and is listed in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers", "Who's Who Among the World" and "Who's Who of Emerging Leaders". His teachers include F. Michael Combs, Keith Brown and Michael Katterjohn. |
