Kofi Baker made his first appearance with his father Ginger Baker (Cream) on a 1975 live TV show called the Old Gray Whistle Test, he's been playing before the public ever since.

The early 80's found Kofi and his father playing drum duets throughout Europe. Later Kofi toured with John Ethridge (Soft Machine), giged in London with Steve Waller (Manfred Mann) and with Randy California (Spirit). He joined Steve Marriot's Next Band after Humble Pie for European tours. Kofi is now playing in OHM with Chris Poland and Robertino Pagliari.

Highlights of the 1990's for Kofi were a Budapest tour with Jack Bruce, signing to Scotty Brothers Records and recording the album Lost City in '92, followed by recording the album "Abstract Logic" with Jonas Hellborg and Shawn Lane in 1994.

This was followed by a variety of tours including more drum duets with Ginger. Now living in L.A., Kofi formed Tapestry with Ric Fierabracci and Brett Garsed.

Kofi also maintains a busy teaching schedule at The Kofi Baker Drum School in Orange County, CA.
