Brian Kelley is an independent recording artist, freelance musician, producer, educator/clinician, and owner of Brian Kelley Music and LSK Records.
Brian's versatility, and love for all musical styles, have allowed him to pursue work, in a wide variety of live musical settings. These settings have included jazz, blues, organ trio, r&b, funk, fusion, top 40, rock, theatre, and pop gigs.
He also has been a busy studio musician. You can find Brian's drumming on numerous CD's as a sideman. As a leader/producer, Brian has 5 CD's out on LSK Records, a label he started in 2000.
Teaching drumset for 12 years, Brian has given over 20,000 private lessons. His studio is located at his home in Braintree, Ma. He also has performed Clinics to large groups, covering topics such as rhythm section playing, and funk drumming styles.
Brian has performed with notable artists such as John Lockwood, Steve Hunt, Richie Hart, Dan Kenney, Sib Hashian and Barry Godreau from Boston and Danny Klein from J.Geils Band.
Currently, Brian is maintaining a busy performance and recording schedule, with a variety of local and national artists in and around New England and New York City.
