Dennis Johnson

Band Director - Wetumpka High School

Dennis Johnson majored in percussion at Auburn University and has taught in the public schools of Alabama for over two decades. He has attained a regional reputation as a performer, teacher, and adjudicator.

Dennis marched in the snareline of the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps under DCI hall of famer Tom Float and was also the percussion caption head and arranger for Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps.

He has two published works to his credit: Rudimental Fantasy No. 1 and Virtuoso Impression for Tambour Militaire.

Dennis and his percussion students use Vater percussion products because of their quality workmanship and durability.
